Our foster care program emphasizes a Vision of H.O.P.E that focuses on addressing the physical, mental, and emotional needs of children. Our agency provides stable, loving, nurturing homes for youth who are unable to live with their biological families as a result of various circumstances. Children referred to our agency have often suffered from trauma stemming from varying forms of abuse and neglect, requiring the utmost care in meeting their needs.
There Is Hope Foster Family Agency is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization that is licensed by the state of California.
Our mission is to provide hope by making a difference in the lives of children and families. Our agency accepts children of all genders, ages 0-17, and non-minor dependents (NMD) 18-21.
There Is Hope Foster Family Agency was founded in 2003 and is rooted and grounded in the principle of giving hope from the heart. Our founder, Rana Fakhory, has a very special family. Her younger brother Odey, who is the baby of the family, has a rare form of cerebral palsy that affects only one in a million children. When he was 10 years old, Rana would often go to her brother's special education classroom to visit him at school. One day while there, a child lashed out at her and it changed her life forever. "When I leaned down to kiss Odey, the boy yelled, 'it's not fair that I don't have a family that loves me' and I later learned he was in a foster home -- it just crushed me." From that experience, Rana embarked upon her journey of opening There Is Hope Foster Family Agency. "My philosophy is that all kids should be loved...these kids need to be loved and cared for." This philosophy is embedded in the agency’s beliefs and values and is the source of our hope.

“
We had thought about fostering for three years before walking into There is Hope. They made the whole process really easy. Now we have a baby girl Emily with us and our family has been completed. Can’t be more thankful to them.
“
Honestly, I always thought I could not foster any child because I wasn’t married. But, I was so wrong. As long as you pass the screening, you are eligible to adopt the child. I am happy I found them. My life is complete now.

Their emergency support is great. If you looking for any information about fostering or donation, please reach out to them.
“There is hope” is a ray of sunshine for foster kids who deserve a bright future like every other kid who progresses within a nurturing family environment.
